This is a generic wanted ad to help guests figure out where they can slot a character they have planned.
Schools and Library
- Teachers and Paraeducators in any grade level (Elementary-High School): There will be at least one teacher to interact with at any of the schools (excluding Community College), also potentially some students.
- High School: Anbai (World History), Yunjin (Music, Korean, and Chinese) || Mentioned and Underdeveloped NPCs: (high school) an old, grumpy math teacher that does not do well with neurodivergent or gifted students (unnamed); (high school) Dana Cooper, a friendly and competent science teacher, albeit disorganized; (high school) Mx. Cooke (same link as Dana), the IEP Coordinator who uses they/them pronouns, is really good with the students. Possibly fairly new to the school.
- In background characters (not active characters, but ones we want to still exist), there is Luck, who is the elementary librarian. Taylor Kang is a fourth grade teacher. Heather Pace is a second grade teacher
- Our currently active student characters are in middle school, Lek (8th grade) and Hayako (6th grade)
- Mentioned and Wanted Elementary School Students: Dastan and Guldana (kindergarten), and there is at least one Khmer (Cambodian) speaking family in elementary school that moved to the States relatively recently
Mentioned and Wanted Middle School Students: Serik (near the bottom), Emma and Elijah
Mentioned and Wanted Middle School Students: Serik (near the bottom), Emma and Elijah
Mentioned and Wanted High School Students: Inzhu, Erasyl, and Anara, Kyo
- There is currently one librarian character at the Public Library, Baian. Libraries always need more than one librarian. And library pages.
Coffee Shops, Restaurants, and Bars
- There is a local cafe named Urban Cafe that is owned and managed by Jesse, and employs Samnang as Assistant Manager, and Kenichi and Iskander as baristas.
- There is a Chinese Bakery and Tea Shop named Xiao Mao Bing, Julin as manager and Xander as an employee. An unnamed older Chinese couple owns the shop, they have all but legally adopted Julin. They have 3 cats that come to the shop with them.
- Redz Juke Joint is a gastropub that has a rotating menu and sometimes has live music. Hwangjung is a part-time and event bartender.
- Driftwood Club is the local dance scene club. They were founded by a local dance crew and host a lot of queer friendly events. Devi works drag nights as a dancer, and Kit works as a bartender.
Centers of Community
- The Community Center Gym has a pool, weight lifting, some sports courts, and a figure skating rink, and hosts some community classes and events. Sungyong and Liz work at the skating rink as coaches.
- The LGBTQ+ Center was given to and is now run by Theo, and hosts support groups, various classes, information for things like contraception and LGBTQ+ friendly medical professionals, as well as working with LGBTQ+ youth who have found themselves homeless. Jiuk is a receptionist at the center. Yingxi is the services liaison, and does a lot of the back end work and communications.
- There is a Buddhist Temple in town. It is mainly Chinese Buddhist, but it has been a welcoming community to other local diaspora groups. It has a community center attached, where classes and events are hosted. Minglong offers music and martial arts classes, Baian offers cooking classes. Regular attendees include Julin, Minglong, Baian, Yunjin, Sungyong, JiaNing, Anlan, Anbai, Devi, Yingxi, Julian, Allen, Kit, and Lek.
Seoul Setting
- If you wanted to bring in a trainee who's younger and will be a trainee for a while, it would be recommended to bring in a girl trainee (think oldest would be early high school). Boy trainees would have to be even younger, so like early middle school or even younger.
- A soloist could debut under or join Dreams Ent. and could be any age
- Managers and other backend characters. We still don't have the main Yuseong manager, who is older than the oldest Yuseong member. The main J.B.N. (girl group) manager, who is probably around the same age as Joshua and Taehoon (around 30), and was previously the Yuseong assistant manager. The main H.S.S. (on the verge of debut boy group) manager is in his mid-late 20s, and was also previously a Yuseong assistant manager. The other managers in the company are Thomas and Misuk
- We don't have the CEO or VP of the company, the CEO was probably a first gen KPop idol, so probably born somewhere between 1975-1985, the VP is one of the main producers of the company, and is around the same age as the CEO, he may have a singer/songwriter career of his own on the side.
- They work with a dance instructor and vocal instructor who have part time jobs at Dreams Ent., but they probably do something else as well.
- Remi is also part of the Seoul Philharmonic Symphony.
- They don't have want ads, but:
-> Gohyuk has a younger cousin born in 2000 who could be in Seoul, but currently is not. There is also a group of drag queens that are pretty much family to Gohyuk.
-> Hayun has an older brother born in 1998.
-> Meri has younger twin sisters who are born in 2011.
-> Misuk has an older brother born in 1981, a younger step-sister born in 2003, and a younger half brother born in 2009.
-> Seoji has an younger step-sister born in 2005 who could be in Seoul for school or a job.
-> Seojin has a younger sister born in 2015 (not in Seoul).
-> Shieon has a younger brother who was born in 2005.
