((Admin Note: The site's location has changed since this thread!!))
Hwangjung had been half expecting the Jiuk coming to see him at work thing to never happen, but he'd been pleasantly surprised when plans had actually come through for it. He got up a little bit early that day to put a little bit more care into how he looked because he wanted to make a good impression of himself at work.
He used a little bit of product in his hair to encourage it to form soft waves around his face, and since it had gotten long enough recently, he pulled back most of it into a high ponytail at the back of his head. He took the time to do simple and subtle but nice looking framing makeup around his eyes in purple and silver eyeshadow and more distinct black eyeliner. He opted for a black turtleneck and slightly shiny black slacks that still fit within his dress code for work, though he knew that they wouldn't be as visible as they might have been since he would be wearing his work apron, though at least that was also black and actually rather nice looking, at least for an apron. He chose a silver drop earring with a small dark purple stone in it, and fastened a fairly short silver chain around his neck. Along with some of his habitual rings, that finished his ensemble, and he looked at himself in the mirror, satisfied that he looked actually good.
He got to work a tiny bit early, since he was opening, and took the extra time to make sure that everything was tidy and wiped down well. His boss raised an eyebrow at him and said, "You don't normally fancy up quite that much. Someone special coming by?"
Hwangjung blushed and blurted out a trifle awkwardly, "Um, there's a guy that I've been on a few dates with..."
His boss chuckled and said, "Good for you kid. The customers always stick around more and pay better when you look pretty, so don't worry about going all out on that front. Good for business and for your personal life sounds like an excellent idea to me."
His boss disappeared into the back to start cooking things for whatever the menu would be today, and Hwangjung took a few deep breaths before giving the person on door a thumbs up that he was good to go. He knew that Jiuk wouldn't be in the first wave to come in, since he worked until a little after opening time, but Hwangjung was glad that this would at least mean he would have time to settle in, as the waves of people on Friday evenings could get pretty intense sometimes.

Jiuk wandered about his room like he suddenly forgot where everything was. So far, he'd gotten into a pair of skinny jeans a white tank top undershirt. He wasn't sure what else he should wear though. Redz was still a bar, but one that was, for the most part, still more sophisticated than the other bars around. He laid down on his bed with socks still in his hands, flailing around until he was able to pull the socks over his feet from his lying position.
He stared up at the ceiling for a little while, not even realizing he was drifting in and out of sleep until his alarm went off, a reminder that he was meeting with Hwangjung tonight. It just caused him to let out a loud sigh. He didn't know what to wear, he didn't know what to bring. Should he bring a notebook? His phone charger? His computer was definitely too much, but he figured he'd want something to keep him company when it got busy. He finally stood up again, shuffling to his closet and digging through clothes until he found a thin, wide collared, black, long-sleeved shirt that fell just above his knees. Over that, he chose a dark purple and gray vest, and then pulled on a more purplish, thin-but-surprisingly-effective jacket. That worked, he supposed. He went to the mirror. His hair was fading from the bright blond it had been, now sitting at a darker, faded yellowish color. He pulled some hair chalk out from the cupboard, adding to his color scheme and putting some dark purple into his hair. Next, he decided to go for eyeliner and mascara, because when he wanted to, he could look damn good, and he wanted to. He pulled on a few silver rings to complete his outfit.
It was almost 10pm before he managed to leave the house, and almost 11 when he arrived at the bar. He checked his phone for any change of plans, suddenly feeling nervous even though they'd already had the awkward first date moments, which he was relieved Hwangjung was able to laugh about over text messages as well. He took a deep breath, figuring it was now or never, and walked inside. It was a bit more convoluted than he expected, but not enough to send him into any panic attacks. He supposed it helped knowing the bartender was his boyfriend (enter question mark here, he thought, his mouth a thin line) and would be able to protect him if some drunk guy tried to hit on him. Still, he wasn't a big fan of the bar scene. He gingerly sat at one of the booths at the bar, waiting patiently to get Hwangjung's attention, using a mirror behind the bar to fix his hair a bit.

Hwangjung was in the middle of taking a large order for a group of friends celebrating a 21st birthday party, apparently the youngest member of their friend group, when he saw Jiuk walk in. He gave Jiuk a small wave near the level of the bar, though he didn't know if Jiuk would be looking closely enough to see it. He knew that his smile intensified just a little bit, and he was glad when he was finally done taking the large, but rather boring order. Working his way down the bar, he pulled a few more beers for regulars, and had one mixed drink to make for someone who had been waiting for him for a bit because she had come in right on the heels of the birthday party. He smiled at her and chatted for a bit, relieved when he got a smile out of her in return since that meant that he would be likely to have a more satisfied customer.
At last, he managed to make it down to the end of the bar where Jiuk had settled himself. He smiled warmly at Jiuk, eyes crinkling up a little bit into a pleased look, and he said, "I'm so glad you're here. It's nice to see you."
He leaned forward just a little bit, fingers brushing Jiuk's hair, "This color looks really good on you."
Fiddling with the glasses and bottles behind the bar for a second, he asked, "Is there anything you want me to make for you, or a food I can get the kitchen to get started? It's pretty busy, so the food might be a bit. That group over there is celebrating a 21st birthday party, and they have the most boring drink choices, but there are a lot of them, and they seem to have money to throw at the party."
He realized he had forgotten to ask and added, "How was your day today?"

Z had barely noticed the movement of the wave from the corner of his eyes, so he just gave a soft smile, unsure if Hwangjung had actually noticed him or not. He'd finally stopped fighting with the height of bar stool when Hwangjung approached him, and he felt like he looked more disgruntled than he should be. He rested his arms across the bar, one of his fingers reaching the edge of bar, but otherwise not able to really reach the other man. He felt his cheeks warm up already and he froze at the sudden touch, though it wasn't necessarily unwanted rather than more unexpected. "T-Thank y-you." He stuttered, his hands going to cover his cheeks. God, he was ridiculous. He looked Hwangjung up and down, taking a deep breath to regain confidence. "You're not so bad yourself." He thought over his drink options, he didn't want to overindulge, but a few drinks wouldn't hurt, especially not if he spaced them out. He glanced over to the table he mentioned and frowned a bit, so much for getting a lot of personal time. But maybe if he hung out long enough there'd be hope. "What kind of food do you guys have?" He asked, suddenly realizing he'd only gone to Korean bars lately. Still, he figured eating first would be a safer bet. He smiled softly. "My day today has been fine. Relaxing." He said, feeling like he was lying a bit considering how much he had been stressing over what to even wear. He glanced over to the birthday group again, wincing as he added, "yours?"

Hwangjung smiled at the stutter and face covering and muttered under his breath, "So cute."
When Jiuk complimented him in return, he could feel himself blushing a little bit in response, but he smiled and replied, "Thank you."
He thought over what the owner had told him the menu was that day, and he went into professional mode for a second, though he started it with a slightly more personal touch, "The owner is pretty cool, he runs kitchen, and he cooks kind of what he feels like on various days. We've got a fresh garden salad today, with either a vinaigrette or a sweet blue cheese dressing, and there is fresh bread, and a french onion soup. We also have stuffed mushrooms with cheese on top, British style chips. And for meals there are fish and chips made with cod, and lamb burgers, and portabello burgers. We also have three types of cakes today, raspberry, dark chocolate, and tiramisu flavored."
He took a breath and said, "And my boss has us do that entire thing from memory, every day we work. I think I would complain more if I didn't get to eat at least some of it at the end of shift."
He glanced over at the big party again when Jiuk asked how his day had been, and he sighed, "It's not been bad, I've been getting good tips, but this is actually the least busy we've been since opening. Happy hour was popular today apparently."

Z whined a bit and wiggled his arms at Hwangjung in protest as he heard the other man calling him cute. He felt the blush creeping up his cheeks even stronger, and he played with a spot on the counter. "Everything sounds so good. And wow. I could never memorize all that everyday." He debated for a moment how healthy he wanted his meal, before deciding since he was planning to drink, he should get something heavier. "Um~ the fish and chips sounds good." He finally decided.
He smiled softly, though it faltered a bit when Hwanjung said it had been busy that night. "That's good in terms of tips, but I hope it calms down eventually." He pouted. "I wanted to be your only customer." He added playfully, but then got embarrassed by his words and hid his face with a squeak. "What is wrong with me tonight? I didn't even drink anything yet." He whined.

Hwangjung nodded, "Fish and chips, I'll let my boss know as soon as I am forced to walk away."
Hwangjung smirked a little bit and said just loudly enough to be heard over the background music, but in a bit of a murmur, "There's nothing wrong as far as I can tell. It was cute. I was kind of hoping that you'd be my only customer too, but we tend to quiet down around half an hour after midnight since we aren't one of the bars open super late, just until one. If you stick around until closing and don't mind waiting for me for a few minutes, we can hang out a little afterwards too."
He saw motion down the bar and asked, "Before I have to go get a drink for a customer, is there anything that you'd like? Even if its just a water for now?"

Z hid behind his sleeves, but his smile was obvious from his eyes. He really wasn't sure how late he was planning on staying out tonight, but 1 am didn't sound as ridiculous as some other bars that closed at 4 or 5 am. He nodded, "I think I can manage that." He said playfully, mayve we can go to Denny's or something afterwards." He joked, not even sure if he'd be hungry still after the fish and chips.
He glanced down the bar with a slight pout, a part of him hoping Hwangjung would just be let off or everyone would magically disappear. He nodded simply, "Just a water for now, until I get some food in me." He hid his smile shyly again, "Admittedly, I ended up napping on and off through dinner, so my stomach's pretty empty right now." He said with a small laugh.

Hwangjung nodded and said, "I probably won't be hungry after work, since employees get kitchen leftovers, and I can make sure that you get food shortly before kitchen closes, but it shouldn't be too cold, so if you were interested, we could try going for a walk down by the beach."
He poured the water into one of the heavy bottomed glasses that were kept under the bar, and he handed it to Jiuk, brushing his fingers over Jiuk's and slightly lingering before he had to turn and head for doing his job. He said, "I'll put your order in, and I'll be back with it if I don't get a chance to swing by sooner."
Then he headed to take more orders, telling Jiuk's to the owner through the window into the kitchen as he went by. He wished that it wasn't quite so busy as he kept glancing Jiuk's way while not having the chance to go over to him yet.

Z had to question if he told Hwangjung his super-secret-romantic-hobbies for a moment, glancing up at him quickly with wide eyes before blinking a couple times and shaking his head lightly, "Yeah, that sounds... really nice." He agreed, giving Hwangjung a shy smile.
He nodded, "Thank you, Sounds good." He said, sipping on his water a bit. He pulled out a small notebook, chewing on the tip of a pen as he swung his legs back and forth lazily. This bar was more relaxing than the other ones, and every so often he'd catch eyes with Hwangjung and giving the other man a soft smile. No poetry was really coming to him tonight, so he just drew cute little doodles to keep himself entertained.

Hwangjung kept glancing back at Jiuk, and each time he did, he would smile at him, with a little tilt of the head. It was nice looking down the bar and seeing Jiuk at the end. He was pleased when at last the owner called out, "Fish and Chips are up."
He was in between orders, and there was actually a slight lull in people coming in, so he figured that the owner had perfect timing. As he whisked the order away, he saw the owner wink at him, and he had the sneaking suspicion that the man had been waiting to call out the food until Hwangjung had a small gap in the rush. He carried the basket over to Jiuk and put it in front of him with a flourish, "Your dinner."
He grinned at the other man, knowing that he was being a bit silly and said, "I hope you've not been too bored down here. As long as I keep an eye on the bar, I can stay put for a bit because there seems to be a little lull at the moment. Thank you for agreeing to the walk on the beach later. None of my friends really like going out places that late, which makes sense, they always have to be up early, but it's always so beautiful out then."
He smiled a bit when he noticed the notebook where Jiuk had been doodling, but he didn't say anything, instead looking at Jiuk again and enjoying how nice it was to have his cute (maybe) boyfriend coming to visit him at work.

Z looked up from his doodles when he noticed the fish and chips in front of him. He raised his head, smiling to Hwangjung. "Thank you." He said with a smile. He picked up a fry, playing with it for a moment before taking a small bite. The food was good, from the small bite he had, but he wanted to pay as much attention to Hwangjung while he had the other man's attention as he could.
Z blushed a bit as he looked down, picking at a fry. "It's... not a problem. I actually really love the beach." He admitted, though he couldn't bring himself to admit how romantic he found walking on the beach. He usually went during sunset because he liked the colors that formed in the sky and the way they bounced off the water, but he was intrigued to go at night. He just hoped he'd be warm enough. He straightened up a bit, putting the fry into his mouth, trying to muster confidence. finally, after swallowing, he was able to speak, "A date after this somewhat-date, then?" He asked softly, giving Hwangjung a soft smile.

Hwangjung nodded and replied, "I really love the beach too. I wish that there was a quieter beach near here. Most of them are full of people a lot of the time. If I didn't work through it most days, and especially if there was a quieter beach, I'd say we should go for a walk there around sunset because that is when it's the most gorgeous."
He smiled at Jiuk fiddling with his food, hoping that he wasn't coming on a bit too strong, but he was really enjoying the fact that Jiuk had shown up, just to see him.
At the comment about it being a date, Hwangjung reached out and put his hand on Jiuk's lightly, giving it a little squeeze, before saying, "Definitely a date."
He didn't want to be too overly affectionate while he was working, but he let his hand linger on Jiuk's for longer than he might of otherwise because they were down at the end of the bar, and there weren't people really paying attention. Jiuk looked really good that evening, and he was getting little butterflies of excitement over the fact that they were going to go for that walk after.
He sighed when he saw new people walking in and squeezed Jiuk's hand lightly again before letting go and saying, "Duty summons me back, but I'll be back to check on you. Do you want a drink before I head to deal with other customers?"

Z felt his heart skip a beat, and he wondered if his cheeks began to warm up too. "I'd like to do that." He began all too quickly, his mind couldn't even think of processing his stutter, which instead showed up at the forefront of his next words, "I-i-i-if we ever find a less crowded beach, I-I mean." He took a breath and swallowed. "It'd be fun." He added, trying to casually fan his face, the words making him embarrassed.
His smile widened at the mention of it being a date, and he paid attention to his food before he ended up too embarrassed again. He glanced up ad new people came in, letting out a small sigh before returning his attention to Hwangjung. He rested his chin on his hands, giving Hwangjung a playful smile. "Rumor has it this bar sells chocolate martinis." He stated simply.

Hwangjung grinned, his smile just a touch silly, and he said, "We do indeed make excellent chocolate martinis."
He busied his hands with putting one together, putting on a bit of a show for Jiuk, spinning mixers and bottles for dramatic effect and making sure that the drink came out pretty as well as delicious. For effect, he carefully placed a long spiraling curl of nice chocolate on the surface of the drink, among the cocoa powder that was sprinkled on top, and he placed a jaunty purple umbrella into the drink to match Jiuk's hair, before placing it before him. He smiled with a wink and said, "Your drink! I will try to be back soon."
He was frustrated that he was not in fact able to come back soon, but eventually, a bit after midnight, things did finally start to wind down, and his boss waved him over and said, "Kitchen is going to stop taking orders in about ten minutes. You should check if there is anything else your boyfriend wants."
Hwangjung walked down to the end of the bar, and said, "I'm sorry that it's been hectic so long. Kitchen is going to be closing soon, and after orders for that are all in, things will quiet down pretty quickly. Do you want anything else to eat, some cake maybe?"
He knew that he sounded just a bit breathless, but he really hoped that Jiuk didn't feel like he'd been left alone too long. Hwangjung had barely had a moment to stop though, between all the mixed drinks that were suddenly being ordered. After they had a few shots into them, the birthday party had decided that they wanted to be very creative with their orders, and he'd been kept very busy between them and people cycling through the bar. He'd looked down to Jiuk as often as he could, but the man hadn't seemed to be trying to call him over, so he'd had to let him wait. He added softly, "I'm sorry that I made you wait so long."
