Remi stands at 6' (183 cm) and weighs a somewhat-light 150 lbs (68 kg). His has a wiry body he's finally grown into, and a strong face. His features are almost more Caucasian, and a lot of times he has to tell people he's mixed. He has a naturally dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. He has a bit of an effeminate look, but his pale skin and dark composure gave him all sorts of nicknames during high school ranging from "tall, dark, and handsome" to "Edward Cullen." He's strong now due to boxing, but he used to be even skinnier and have the body to show it. He has a lot of scars, both from himself and other kids. He doesn't have any piercings or tattoos, and the idea both intrigues him and freaks him out.

Remi's mother did everything in her power to help him and make him a regular kid, despite his diagnoses as schizophrenic and originally, psychopathy (the latter diagnosis has officially been rescinded). So now even though he still doesn't relate well to his peers, especially not on a one-on-one basis, he can function mostly normally in society and has learned to channel his more psychopathic tendencies towards other, non-living things. Though he still looks at animals like they're food, he hasn't killed any animals since they first moved to the U.S. He doesn't feel any remorse about the animals he has killed, however, but he supposes he can appreciate his mother stopped the habit before he killed a person, as he's not keen on going to jail. Because of his grandmother's history, he's also grateful his family didn't move on without him. Because of that, and because he wanted to at least attempt to be a good role model for his little sister, as he got older he worked hard to learn to be a better person, and paid close attention to what others consider morally good versus bad (it doesn't always work though, and sometimes he just doesn't care).

He likes boxing and playing violin. He was learning some Tae Kwon Do while in college, but didn't continue pursuing it outside of a class here or there. He also likes to listen to music, and when Anya was a toddler and small child, he used to often find dorky, playful, or childish songs he could dance to in order to play around with his sister when she was younger to make her laugh. He's grown quite attached to a small group of people. His weakness is his schizophrenia. He's stuck with it for the rest of his life, unless there becomes some miracle cure for it, but he's not holding his breath.

His strength is that, despite what research says about the correlation between schizophrenia and mental delays, he's quick to learn. He got very skilled with violin very quickly, and he passed high school as valedictorian.

His biggest, worst fear is hurting his sister. It's lessened as she's gotten older and learned to stand up for herself, but it still lingers in his mind that something could go seriously wrong and he'd lose his sister forever, either literally or via estrangement.

His secret is that he actually does kind of like his parents, but he's still outwardly standoffish and bitter towards them, and would argue it's because he doesn't live with them anymore. When he was a preteen, he'd often hear his parents talking about him after they thought he'd gone to bed, convincing each other it was the other's fault for his problems, even though schizophrenia was a hereditary disease mostly and "didn't your relative have it?" Because of these late night talks, Remi knows his family has suffered a lot because of him.

Feelings Toward: He loves her. He doesn't know, or want to know, where he'd be right now without her. As she's gotten older, he's sensed a hint of resentment from her, but if she actually feels like that towards him, she doesn't let it show, and he's unsure how to bring it up. He misses her when they go long periods without being able to see or speak with each other.

Remi was born in London, England to a Korean father and German/French mother. He was a perfectly normal baby. Nothing wrong with him besides the occasional, normal cold. Even as a baby, he grew quickly attached to his grandmother, who was living in a psych ward after being abandoned by her husband, who didn't want to deal with a schizophrenic wife. Then when he was four, his grandmother committed suicide, and Remi was the first one to find the body. Soon after, he came home covered in blood, saying there were people telling him the neighbor's dog had to die. His mother, a psychiatrist since before he was born, feared the worst. Multiple tests proved not only psychopathic tendencies, but he also commonly had delusions, and he was diagnosed as also being schizophrenic, probably triggered young because of his grandmother's death. Although they tried hard, with their schedules, his parents were unable to help him for the time being, and he was sent to a psychiatric hospital, where they were able to better control his aggressive tendencies and hallucinations.

He was nine when he was introduced to his baby sister, his parents nervous because she was only a month old and he was still quite aggressive to animals and the orderlies. But somehow, with his sister, his eyes lit up when he saw her, and he wanted nothing more than to cuddle with her all the time. His parent's visits became more frequent as he'd play with her, gentle as any other older brother, and actually seemed like a regular kid, finally. His mother determined he was ready to come home. Initially having been avoided due to his age, Remi was now on a strict regimen of medication, and he was learning to become a more normal person in society. But sending him to school proved the wrong move, and on the first day he was expelled for getting into a fist fight that sent his bully into the hospital. He began being home-schooled, and his mother became very strict, if not paranoid, about him not being home alone with his sister.

Remi was 12 when his father was told he'd have the chance to open his own clinic, a subsection of the hospital he currently worked at, in Cedar Beach, Washington. Almost instantly, Remi's mother began looking for a place he could receive his psychotherapy treatments for his schizophrenia, and also kept on hand information to all of the psychiatric hospitals in the surrounding area, just in case.

By the time they moved, Remi was pretty quiet, keeping to himself and more often than not, his thoughts and words were disorganized and didn't make sense. Once they moved, again, a dead animal showed up with their son. The stress and hecticness from the move caused him to forget about and stop taking his medication. This time, at least, it had just been a stray, but even so, his mother was heartbroken. He acted up for a while, not taking his medication, having to be kept locked in his room so as not to hurt anything else, or hurt someone for the first time. His mother studied harder, beginning to give her son psychotherapy treatments herself, and also looking for other, less conventional ways for him to channel his aggression. He was 14 when he started boxing. He wasn't allowed to actually fight with other people, but the punching bag helped him a lot. Ironically, violin also seemed to help, which he started at 16. His sister, who somehow struck a chord in what some would call an originally empty heart, was never hurt by him. He was always as gentle as anyone else with her. His mother still can't pinpoint why that was exactly, but finds it an interesting correlation to how her mother had been with Remi.

For high school, Remi was given another chance to try going to school, although initially only for violin lessons and a high level math class. With the proper medication back in his system, he was functioning better, though he did get into a brutal fight a few weeks into the start of school after being hit in the hand by a baseball while the team was practicing, and he needed his hands uninjured to play violin.

Starting around his 18th birthday, Remi's mother had begun getting him retested for psychopathic tendencies. She'd begun to question if it was too hasty a diagnosis, especially since the anti-psychotic medication does tend to keep his aggressive tendencies at bay. Since it was difficult to determine for sure because of not being able to isolate it from his schizophrenia, it took a long while before they were able to make a definitive diagnosis.

In June 2016, he blew up the science building during his high school graduation and consequently had some court dates in the months after. He ended up avoiding a harsher sentence, rather assigned six months time in a psychiatric hospital. So he was there for the second time in his life. However this time, he somewhat wanted it, looking at it as an opportunity to fix his issues towards his recent medication tolerances, and had requested to not be put on any anti-psychosis medication for the time being. Dealing with his unhindered schizophrenia had been a bit rough, but his violin and phone helped to distract him on better days.

With his six months required time up, the doctors ran a few tests to find out why he had started tolerating the medications so quickly. One test determined he was allergic to lithium, but it was never caught because his allergies presented itself in the form of common, though serious, side effects. He began a low dose of Thorazine to see if his body will adequately receive medication again. He was finally released at the beginning of winter with a slightly heavier dose of his medication and instructions to up the dosage if it began not working.

He spent some time recovering from the six month hospital stay and readjusting to regular life, and then enrolled into the nearby community college to keep up his studies.

After applying late, and graduating suddenly (he had enough credits and the proper classes to graduate, but was initially holding it off to take some classes not related to his major), Remi revealed to his parents he wanted to attend Seoul National University for a four year degree (only after they found the acceptance letter first). Although they were reluctant to let him go, eventually they gave him.

His parents had given him enough money to get his own apartment, as they didn't trust him in a dorm setting, which he was fine with, and he ended up in a two bedroom apartment with Thomas. This has been working for both of them, so even when Thomas decided to move closer to Dreams Entertainment, Remi was happy to be offered to continue being roommates and followed him. He is also happy that being this close to Dreams means it's easier to see Anya, and he was granted first floor access so they can meet in the company cafe.

He graduated from Seoul National University August 2023. He had an offer from the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra for when he graduated, and he is tenth chair, second violin.
