❖ friends: remi's main friend is probably minglong lin. after a somewhat humorous-yet-shocking first meeting, remi almost instantly gained respect for minglong. he also has a strong respect for his old music teacher, yunjin lin, but yunjin is not so much a friend as someone remi looks up to. he's also gotten quite accustomed to thomas fan now that they live together. he's getting used to misuk.
❖ family: remi doesn't get along with his parents, and he's beginning to realize just how much helicopter parenting his mom really did, and kind of resents her for it. he keeps on top of weekly calls with his mom, if anything to make sure she doesn't bother anyone else. he absolutely adores his little sister, anya young, however, and is always looking out for her.
❖ love interest(s): remi had a girlfriend in high school that left him after they graduated (and while he was in the psychiatric hospital). it left him a little empty and having to sort himself out a bit. now he's a legal adult for everything (i.e. law, drinking, voting, etc.), he's once again trying to sort out what it means to be an adult with schizophrenia and how his life will continue from here on out.

since moving to korea, he's been experimenting with friends with benefits, some more successful than others (he gets real annoyed if one of them catches feelings). He has at least one that has become a friend (this is a strange concept to him, and has been since he realized he made another friend).

remi's currently in korea, working and trying to watch over his little sister as she rises to stardom. he's involved with the seoul philharmonic orchestra, but otherwise he's not very good at being sociable and well-behaved. he loves playing violin, though. peers in the orchestra or others may try to befriend him if they also like music and are around his age. i'm open to giving him a future romance, gender doesn't matter, but they have to understand remi identifies as aromantic. in seoul, remi has had a few friends with benefits, there is plotting thoughts he will move in with his current one when thomas and misuk move to the company housing.
