((This thread is backdated to a weekday in early June)) Elena settled in among the supplies in the hall closet. She wasn't entirely sure what it was used for, and based on the hodgepodge of items in the closet, neither did anyone else. It was 1 pm in Korea which meant 6 am back in Spain. She'd found the best time to speak with her mother, the eternal early riser was smack, dab in the afternoon. Elena wasn't confident in her bandmate's schedules, especially since they shifted so often, so to make sure she didn't bother anyone, she'd taken up claiming the hall closet by the entrance of the apartment. "Of course I miss you mom," she told her. "Are you eating well? You look skinny. You need to eat more," her mother said. Elena grinned. "Mom, I'm too fat for Korea, I can't eat more." "You? Too fat? Your neck can barely hold your head up. How are you supposed to dance with nothing on your hips?" Elena couldn't help but laugh. "My hips are fine. Remember, you gave me those. The weight won't leave there." Her mom smiled at her gently, "what about that Spanish boy, are you cooking with him? Spending time with him? He's cute, no?" Elena shook her head, "I haven't been able to spend much time with Felix. But, yes, he is cute. Not as cute as some of my bandmates though," she said with a wink. "Ai mija, don't get yourself in a scandal or something. Spain and Korea treat sexuality very differently. Bring her home next time you visit, your mami needs to approve. Which one is she so I can keep an eye out." Elena shook her head, "no mami, it's fine. I'll be good, stop asking," she said as her face reddened. "Why is it so dark there? I thought it was afternoon?" "I'm in a closet and the light's off," she explained. "Mija, why are you in a closet, I already know all about it." she teased. "Mami, stop it," Elena giggled. Shieon returned from rap practice and noticed the dorm was fairly empty. She changed into some more comfortable clothes, a pair of pajama pants and a tank top, and was heading to the bathroom to wash up when she heard a voice coming from the hall closet. It sounded like one of her band mates, so she wasn't worried, just confused. She listened for a moment, overhearing some comment about being in the closet, which made her heart jump a bit in excitement. She knocked softly on the door before peeking her head in, seeing Elena sitting there. "Um... Hello. Didn't mean to interrupt, just... was curious who was in the closet..." She muttered, feeling somewhat awkward. Although they had met, Shieon and Elena didn't really get the chance to talk much since then, besides formal greetings. They both seemed to have preferred bandmates to hang out with, which didn't bother Shieon, but it did make it harder to get to know the other girl better.

Elena jumped a little at the knock and smiled awkwardly when Shieon poked her head in. "Shieon-nie!" she squeaked. She turned back to her computer and told her mother, "I'll call you later or tomorrow, be good and give everyone besos for me, mami. Te quiero, te amo," she blew a kiss at her screen and disconnected the call.
She stood up, tucking the laptop underneath her arm, "I didn't know if anyone was home... Was I being too loud? I'm sorry."
Elena found herself at a loss. Her first instinct was usually to hurl herself at someone and give them hugs and kisses, but she felt like she'd been discovered doing something wrong so she wasn't her usual self. That, and with Shieon at the door, she was literally trapped in the closet until her unnie moved.

Shieon quickly shook her head, "No! No! I just got back from a practice... And heard noises coming from the closet so I was confused. I didn't mean to make you hang up your call with you family..." She said, pouting at the last sentence. She moved out of the doorway so Elena could leave if she wanted. She realized it was going to be just the two of them at least until the younger ones got back from school, and Seojin was going to be in practices most of the day. "Um... I get if you maybe want to do something else, but we um... Hardly talk. Did you want to maybe... I dunno, order some food and get to know each other?" She offered hesitantly. "If it's something you like, I can do your nails, too." She offered. It had worked favorably for Hayun, and there was something about painting nails that let people relax more, so maybe it would be easier to get to know each other if Elena agreed.

Elena shook her head, "oh no, don't worry about it. I can talk to her later." She eased her way past Shieon and started heading back to the bedroom to escape the awkwardness of being caught in a closet but paused at the idea of food and a manicure.
"I love manicures," she reached out and took Shieon's hand in her own, examining the nail art. "Wait, you did these yourself? They're beautiful! I'd love to eat and chat and get to know you better unnie. What do you want to eat?"

"If you're sure..." Shieon muttered. She had a hard enough time when her dad and brother were back in Korea while she and her mom were in Thailand. She couldn't imagine being as far away as Elena or Anya from her family. And at Anya still supposedly had her older brother in the country with her, though Shieon hadn't crossed paths with him yet.
She startled a bit as Elena took her hand, but quickly relaxed and nodded to her enthusiastically. "Yeah! Prior to passing the audition, I was an up and coming nail art influencer on Instagram." She said, pulling out her phone with her free hand and opening Instagram to show Elena some of her pictures. "Here, maybe it will give you an idea." She paused on the row with her pride styles on purpose, though some of them were less obvious than others, she was curious how Elena would react to them.
"Oh, and, anything you want to eat is fine with me."

Elena excitedly took the phone from Shieon, "you did all these yourself? You're really good!" She scanned through some of the pictures, could you do an ombre for pride month? I'd love the rainbow, but fancy!"
She used her hand, still holding Shineon's to steer them both to sit at the table. "How about jjajjangmyun," she suggested, passing her phone over, unlocked, so Shieon could order from it. She was still looking at all the amazing nail art.
"Oh, I know! Could you do each nail as a flag? The lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, demisexual, non-binary and even the trans flag?" Elena was excited by the idea.

"I did!" Shieon said, then stuttered a bit before replying, "A-are you sure. I mean I-I can do that for you but... fancy how?" She asked, practically squeaking by the end of her sentence.
"Oh, sounds good." She said meekly as Elena handed her her phone. She called and ordered a jjajjangmyun and a jjajjangbap dish, making sure they came with jjampong. She hung up the phone after giving the address and explaining they'd have to leave it at the front desk for them to come meet them. She handed the phone back to Elena, "they said it'll take about 30 minutes."
She registered what Elena asked of her and blushed. "Are you sure!?" She asked, her voice higher pitched and louder than previously."You must be very supportive..." She mused, her voice back to normal.

Elena traded phones with Shieon, "okay, sounds good. We'll go down in half an hour then. Thanks for ordering."
She quirked her head and Shieon's higher and louder voice. "You're awfully nervous unnie." Elena checked in with herself. She'd been certain in her assessment of Shieon that she would be supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and possibly a part of it, but her reply was worrisome.
"What's wrong? Do you not want to do them? Does the LGBTQ+ community make you uncomfortable? Are you against the community?" Elena knew she was being more direct than a Korean would be, but considering she has always identified as bisexual and was currently more-than-a-simple-crushing on Seojin, she wanted to know who her allies were.

Shieon bobbed her head slightly in response to the thanks for her ordering, and took her phone and put it back into her pocket. She froze when Elena seemed to notice her nervousness. It wasn't like she was being subtle about it, but it was still nerve-wracking to say the least. She waved her hands in front of her, "No, quite the opposite!" She said before she could stop herself. She cursed under her breath quietly. "I'm very supportive, I just... haven't met many other people who are." Her voice went quieter, "Especially not for trans or nonbinary people..."

Elena quirked her head in the other direction, "haven't met many other people who are?" she had completely missed the part where Shieon had said "supportive" and instead just heard that Shieon was part of the community.
"I knew it!" she said excitedly. "You are part of the community too! I could just tell! You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to, or if you're uncomfortable, I'm just glad to know our group is so diverse and welcoming!"

"What?" Shieon squeaked. Her mind immediately immediately went to how her mother would kill her (and make her drop out immediately) if she knew she had come out to a single soul that could potentially put her little girl in danger. Her eyes were wide and she was smiling generically at Elena's reaction. "Uh... I'm... questioning?" She said, realizing she had never really thought about her actual orientation. She'd always been so focused on the gender part of it that now that she was essentially "done" transitioning, she didn't know what to focus on. She supposed her sexuality would be next.

Elena beamed, "questioning? Questioning what? That you like Hayun?" she shrugged. "I think you two are cute together."
She reached out and took Shieon's hand again to examine her nails. "You're allowed to be more than one thing, you know." Elena had her suspicions about Shieon, but had no desire to out her. "Just know you have an ally and comrade here with you," she adjusted her grip and gave the other girl's hand a gentle squeeze.
She retracted her hand, "can I help you get any of the nail polish or supplies? Maybe we should wait because they probably wont be dry enough for me to help get food later."

Shieon's eyes widened and she felt all the color drain from her face. Her heart dropped to her feet as well. "I... I don't!! Like her!" She felt bad saying that though, and retracted her statement. Kind of. "I mean... I don't know. I'm questioning my sexuality. I've never focused on it." She rambled. "And I know I can be more than one part of the alphabet. I already am." The words came out before she stop them, and she covered her mouth, shutting her eyes tight. Was she so desperate to risk this chance to follow her dreams of becoming a singer? Sure, there were trans girls already in the industry. But Harisu only achieved moderate fame, and Choi Hanbit's group never even got popular. Even Holland struggled to get to where he was today, and had to make his own company. She couldn't risk this.
"Fuck," she muttered through her hands.

Elena put her hands up and gently said, "Calm down, unnie. No one here is going to hurt you, out you or try to kick you out of the group. I don't care if you're gay, or questioning your sexuality or even if you're trans, you're still you and you're still my band mate. I will be your ally no matter what."
Elena knew Shieon would wonder where she got trans from so she opened an instagram photo she'd seen while scrolling through her account to show her unnie where she'd gotten it from.
"You're okay. We're okay." she said.
