Allen looked Samnang over, clearly a little bit surprised by the shift in clothes, but he didn't say anything about it. Instead, he focused on the skate board, asking, "Do you like to skateboard much or is it just for transportation?"
He started heading in the general direction of where he lived, taking slow and steady steps. He knew that he would do best if he set up a pace for himself because it would let him regulate his breathing. He added, "Sorry that I'm not moving too fast today. I normally walk relatively quickly, but right now I want to make sure that my lungs don't decide that they want breathing to be an optional function."
He added, "Don't worry about the wait, you're doing me a favor by walking with me. It's nicer to have company, especially when I'm a bit out of it."

Samnang took one glance down at his skateboard before putting it behind his back and holding it with both hands. "These days, since I kinda overbooked myself this semester between classes and work, it's mostly just for transportation. But when I get the time, I do like practicing tricks." He said with a simple nod. "Ultimately, it's a faster way to get around when my brother wants the car." He added with a small chuckle.
He shook his head, "It's fine, I had an opening shift, so I woke up around 3:30 this morning, and have been working since 4:30, so my level of functionality isn't very high until I can plan a meeting with my bed again." He said honestly. "So I'm tired and really don't mind walking slower." He finalized with a curt nod.

Allen grinned when Samnang said that he practiced tricks some and he asked, "This might seem like a bit of a strange question, but do you think that I might be able to come take pictures some time when you were practicing tricks? I've been trying to work on my motion shots, and skateboarding is cool to watch and good for motion shots, but I always feel a little bit odd going up to people at skate parks and just asking if I can use them for practice."
He coughed a bit as they kept walking, but looked relieved as the coughing didn't cause him to double over or continue into a full blown coughing fit. He added, "I hope that you can get some good rest later then. Going too long without sleep is never much fun."

Samnang mulled over the request, "Like... just practice or actually modeling?" He questioned, purely curious. He scratched the back of his head, letting out a nervous laugh, "Sure! I mean, I've never been asked to be a model for anything, even practice, so I'm kinda curious how it turns out." He said honestly. He turned to continue walking, eying Allen as the other man began coughing again, but not commenting on it. He laughed a bit, "I'm kinda hyped on caffeine right now, but probably later in the afternoon I'll crash. That tends to be the normal response. Luckily I don't work tomorrow, so I can throw off my sleep schedule all I want." He said.

Allen glanced over at him and said, "Well, I was mostly thinking practice, but if you wanted to do some actual modeling shoots so that you'd have the pictures, I would certainly be willing to trade the practice for some photos for you, or some photos of clothes you've made on you if you wanted. I do a lot of photoshoots for modeling, so I've got practice making people look good for that sort of thing."
He paused, catching his breath again, and taking the turn that took him to the shortest path home. He added, "Today probably wouldn't be the best day for it. I'm going to have a meds crash in the not too far future, but I'd love to exchange contact info if you'd be interested, um, I've got my card around here somewhere if nothing else."
He paused for a moment, digging around and finally finding it, and then he snorted a bit of a laugh, "It's kind of weird having a card honestly, but work gives them to me."

"That'd be awesome!" Samnang said excitedly, nodding. He took the card, looking it over before his smile widened, "Yeah, no, here." He stumbled over words, pulling out his phone and dialing the number that said it was mobile. He sent a text to the other man. "There, now you have my number too. We can discuss when would be a good time to get the pictures done." He said.

Allen smiled and dug his vibrating phone out of his pocket. He added a new contact based on the text, typing in Samnang's name, remembering how it was spelled from his nametag. He asked conversationally, "Are there days that you tend to go practice tricks or is it more as your schedule allows?"
He had to pause for a second and spotted a bench at the edge of the park they were walking by. Pointing it out he said, "I think that I need to sit down for a moment."
He made his way over to it, hoping that Samnang wouldn't be too frustrated by his snail like pace. He made sure that his breathing steadied, and as he became more even again, he watched the little park. There were a few kids playing on the swings, which made him smile, but otherwise the park wasn't very active.

"It's usually as my schedule allows." Samnang said with a nod. "I've been getting trained to become a lead, so my work schedule is more busy than usual. My classes are pretty set; but it also makes my Mondays through Thursdays a bit busy. This semester I was smart though. Three day weekend, every week." He said with a laugh, giving Allen a thumbs up. He rolled his eyes, seeming to take back his words. "Well, I do work a short opening shift on Fridays, but I don't count that. I work, go home, sleep, weekend begins before 2 pm." He rambled, laughing a bit. He nodded and followed the other man to the bench, resting on his skateboard rather than sitting down. "Though because I haven't practiced a lot recently, I wouldn't mind at least a day to make sure I can still do tricks." He joked.

Allen listened to Samnang ramble, smiling at him and nodding along. He eventually spoke, voice quiet because he was still a little short on breath still, "I usually do a lot of my work on weekends and in the evening because that's when a lot of fashion shows and shoots are, but my schedule goes in waves, sometimes it's a burst of business and sometimes I've got a little bit at a time, but because I can do a lot of the back end stuff at work, editing and the like, even if I don't have consistent shoots it works out ok."
He paused for a moment, getting a little bit of his breath back, and added, "I promise that if I manage to catch a picture of you messing up spectacularly, I will delete it immediately unless you decide you want to keep it for some reason."

"If I have unexpected time during the week then, I'll definitely let you know." Samnang said quickly. "The semester's kind of heading towards midterms, though my classes aren't really doing that because I've picked awesome teachers, so it won't be much trouble to just message you when I have some extra free time." He assured him. He laughed, clapping his hands as he fell back against the back of the bench. "Good, good, but let me see them first so I can laugh at them." He said after he stopped laughing so much.

Allen laughed and replied, "It's a deal. I can even probably send them to you if you find them amusing enough that you want to keep an unedited version. Fancy new cameras that can bluetooth connect to things are one of the very nice perks of my job."
He mentally checked his breathing and decided that he was ready to keep going. He stood, pushing himself up from the bench with one hand and letting it stay on the back of the bench in case he lost his balance. He seemed pretty much alright when he made it to his feet again, and he said, "Alright, I think that I can make it the rest of the way without having to sit down again. Thank you for your company for this by the way."
He smiled as he walked the first few steps, and added, "Definitely get in touch with me though. It would be fun."
Then, about ten steps from the bench, his head spun a little bit, from some of the medication crash starting to set in, and he wobbled sort of starting to list over sideways and looking like he was about to fall.

"Sweet! Those kinds of cameras go for like, thousands of dollars if you get a good one. Damn dude, I clearly need to become a magazine photographer." He said with a chuckle.
He nodded and stood up, giving Allen a large smile, "No problem, dude." He said, giving him a thumbs up. He'd barely walked a few steps and got his skateboard to the ground, deciding to glance back, just in time to see Allen stumble. "Woah!" He said, rushing over. He scrunched up a side of his face, "You okay? Are you sure you don't want assistance for the rest of way?"

Allen put his hand on the nearest surface available to help him stabilize, which happened to be Samnang's shoulder, which he felt a touch bad about, and he frowned, "I was hoping to get back home before the dizziness kicked in, but apparently I'm not so lucky this time."
He tentatively tested his balance, finding it again through the slight spinning feeling, and said, "It is only a few more blocks to get back, not even very long ones. If you'd be willing to walk the rest of the way with me and have it not be weird if I have to catch myself, um, I'm pretty sure I'll get there without falling over completely. Thank you."
He sighed and added, "This is a lovely first impression that I'm making."

Samnang smiled and shook his head. "It's fine. People have health issues sometimes." He shrugged slightly, "I promise not to make it weird, as long as you don't." He said, mostly teasing. He kept his hands loosely in his pockets, in case Allen didn't fall the right way. His skateboard was on the opposite side of Allen, balancing under his arm so it could be dropped at a moment's notice. He'd never known anyone with asthma, so he was unfamiliar with the side effects. In a weird way, it was a bit strange and surreal, since he was always one to avoid medication he didn't know the side effects of (let alone ones he couldn't immediately look up how they interacted with T), or didn't like the side effects. "I get they're helping you live and breathe and all, but the side effects of inhalers just seem like a pain." He muttered, not necessarily towards Allen, but curious about an answer. "Like... there's no better option?"

Allen laughed a wheezing little laugh and said, "This isn't normal inhalers, this is the side effect of my emergency meds. The normal stuff isn't too bad at all, sometimes makes me a little jittery, similar to how some people get if they have too much coffee."
He shook his head and said, "In the case, it is definitely better than the alternative though. Once I get home, I'll be able to just sleep the side effect off, and I'd much rather do that than have to be in the hospital again."
He relaxed some knowing that there was someone who would catch him if he fell over. He had missed the feeling of having a friend to keep an eye on him in this sort of situation. He pointed ahead to the apartment complex and said, "I live in there, up a few floors."
He sighed and said, "You managed to meet me on a bad day, but I'm still glad that I happened to stop in there. It's been good to get the chance to meet you, and I am definitely looking forward to skateboarding photos."
