This is the two bedroom apartment that the Wang twins, Anlan and Anbai, moved into when their parents got divorced. They have the following floor plan:
They are both still getting used to living on their own, but they are more settled in their space than they were for a while since things seem to be getting more stable again. Anlan laid claim to the bedroom with the en-suite bathroom with two sinks since she would have more personal visitors (upper right), leaving the other bedroom to Anbai (lower left). They chose this layout partially because it meant that their bedrooms didn't share walls and so they would actually get to have some privacy for the first times in their lives.
Now that their mother and little brother have moved into a house a little bit farther away, though still nearby, they've fully made the living room their own, with more space for relaxing together and hanging out with friends.
Anlan did set up her new desk for her computer desk out in the living room so that it would be easier to hang out while each doing their own thing in the same space, but her laptop travels around the apartment with her. They have a dining room table that can seat 6 if you really squeeze, but it doesn't get nearly as much use now that Anlan has the desk and they have a couch.
Anlan's room has an en-suite bathroom with two sinks, which is useful for her semi-frequent overnight guests (and making sure that they don't impose on Anbai's space). Her room started out with almost nothing in it because she's shared with her twin her entire life, but she is slowly starting to acquire things that she wants for her room. She doesn't really know how to fill up a space by herself, but the first splurge she got for herself with her own space was getting a king sized bed for her room. Not too long after, she got nightstands for either side of the bed. She's since also gotten some bookshelves and a proper dresser of her own. She's still not used to it entirely, but after years of bunk beds, it's amazing. She's also bringing her, um, friends home for certain things for the first time in her life.
Anbai's bedroom has it's bathroom technically accessible from the common space. [[REDEIM: feel free to go ahead and talk about Anbai's room.]]
