Inkar is about 160 cm/5' 3". She's athletically built, and she generally keeps her hair in a bob. It's naturally a dark brown that shifts between nearly black and a little bit reddish depending on the amount of sun she's been getting. She's got her ear lobes pierced once each, but no other piercings for now at least. She tends to dress fairly sportily, but also often a bit cutely. She likes shorts and short skirts and knee high socks, but most of all, she likes things she can run around in.

Inkar always wants to be doing something. She doesn't like to sit still too long, and she loves sports and other high energy activities. On the not so good side, this leads to her generally having trouble settling down to things like sleep. She is also interested in everything. She has no idea what she wants to do long term at this point because most things are interesting to her.

Inkar likes people (though she has no time for the nonsense of those who want to treat others badly for any reason). She gets on with a lot of people, even though she doesn't have many truly close friends.

Inkar is extremely athletically talented. She was on the starting line up of the varsity teams at her high school starting from the beginning of the season her freshman year for Volleyball, Soccer, and Track. She runs every morning, and she did club sports every summer. And these days, she's on the Kazakh national track team. She's always been afraid of not being able to somehow stand out among all of her siblings, and sometimes she feels burdened by being one of the eldest. She really wishes that she could be as carefree about going and doing things as some of her friends, but she does have responsibilities at home. She's really proud that she is probably going to be able to fund her college education with athletic scholarships.

Feelings Toward: Love, respect, eternal frustration. Inkar's mom tries her best to be encouraging of Inkar's passions, but she also sometimes really clearly doesn't understand them. She puts a lot of pressure on Inkar to be the mature one among her siblings. While Inkar loves her younger siblings, she really wishes sometimes that her mom and dad had stopped a few sooner. Inkar's mom is on the fairly short list of people she's out to, and she's relieved that her mom took it pretty well, if slightly confused.

Feelings Toward: Respect, love, uncertainty. She often feels like she has a bigger cultural gap with her father than with her mother. Maybe it's because he wasn't around as much when she was little. He's a pretty good dad, but he's busy a lot, and she really wishes that she got more time with him.

OLDER BROTHER

Feelings Toward: Kind of distant, but starting to get to know him a little bit better now that he sees her as growing up. When the family moved to the US, Timur was about to turn ten, and Inkar hadn't been born yet. She often feels like she knows nothing about her older brother, and he rarely seems to have the time for her. As she gets older, and has to deal with much much younger siblings of her own, she kind of gets it, but she still wishes that he payed her more attention. They're starting to become friends now that she's an adult, and she's a little surprised how much they do actually have in common.

Occupation: College Student (UW - starting fall 2021)
Feelings Toward: Frustrated Love. Aiday likes to try to follow her around and do whatever she does, but they are really different people, and it makes Inkar feel bad a lot of the time. She's glad that in middle school Aiday is starting to find friends of her own, and starting to spend less time following her around. Now that Aiday is starting high school, Inkar's a little nervous about whether they'll end up partially sharing a friend group, and she kind of hopes not. For the most part, she's been relieved that they don't seem to hang out with many of the same people.

YOUNGER BROTHER

Feelings Toward: Fondness, Love, Concern. Aibek is the the first sibling she remembers being born, and there was a lot of excitement for her when he was born. He's in many ways her favorite younger sibling. He's also the sickly kid, having asthma and getting sick easily in general, so she can be a little bit fussy over him sometimes.

YOUNGER SISTER

Feelings Toward: Amused Love and Frustration. Inzhu is the sibling who has a lot in common with her so far. She's athletic, outgoing, but generally rather silly and bubbly, the way a lot of kids her age can be. Inkar suspects she will like Inzhu a lot better when they're both adults, and she's starting to see the beginnings of it now.

Feelings Toward: Amused Love and Frustration. Erasyl is loud and rowdy. She likes to roughhouse with him, but she also gets exasperated with him rather quickly.

YOUNGER SISTER
Name: Anara Mun

Occupation: Middle School Student (6th - starting fall 2021)
Feelings Toward: Fondness, Love. Anara is probably her favorite baby sister. She's a sweet, quiet child who likes to do things like bring her older sister flowers. She's an easy younger sibling to take care of, which is a very endearing trait when Inkar ends up taking care of all her younger siblings.

YOUNGER BROTHER

Feelings Toward: Vague Fondness. Serik is so much younger than Inkar that she's starting to lose interest in her youngest sibling. He's just yet another kid to keep track of and look after, and she's starting to think about her own future now. He's the youngest (for now at least, but she really hopes that her mom and dad don't give her any more younger siblings, six is enough thanks). He's been going through a bit of a bratty phase that makes her a bit frustrated.

YOUNGER SIBLINGS (TWINS)
Name: Dastan (♂) and Guldana (♀) Mun
Birth Year: March 23, 2019
Occupation: toddlers
Feelings Toward: Confusion, mild frustration. Inkar doesn't know how she feels about the fact that she's going to have siblings who are 18 years younger than her, but she has to wonder how that feels for Timur who has friends with kids older than the twins will be. She's kind of worried for her mom, though her mom seems to be in good health and very happy to be adding to her brood. Now that the twins are born, Inkar is vaguely fond of them, but she's kind of glad that she's never going to have to share rooms with them.

Maxim was part of the Korean minority in Kazakhstan, and Aliya is ethinically Kazakh. They met when she was a freshman in college and he was a grad student, and they hit it off (fortunately, not in the same departments). They were married after her first semester of college, and Timur was born six months later. Maxim finished a prestigious degree in Aerospace Engineering, and for a while, he had a government job in Kazakhstan. When Timur was 9, and Aliya was six months pregnant with their second child, he got the opportunity to move to the Seattle area for work, and he took it. Inkar was born a month and a half after they arrived in the US, making her the first of the children to be born there.



Inkar had a pretty good early childhood. Her mom looked out for her and her younger siblings a lot, and they got to do activities that interested them. Inkar started doing soccer when she was four, and she's never stopped, only adding more sports as time went on, but from that very first year of soccer, she's been in her age level's league all star teams. She loved sports, and as her little siblings continued to join the family, they were a way to distinguish herself.



Aiday and Aibek are both not enough younger than her for her to have had much of an opinion on them being there. At that age, younger siblings were just sort of a thing that happened. She was definitely starting to get conscious of the fact that her family was bigger than her friends' families after Inzhu and Erasil were born. With Anara and Serik, she's starting to just think that it's a little bit excessive, and she had kind of hoped that her parents were done having kids, but early in her senior year of high school, she found out that her mom was expecting again, and sometime that year she would be getting twin younger siblings. Dastan and Guldana were born in March of her senior year, shortly after Timur had moved away from home, and Inkar is very glad that she got the chance to take over his room before the babies were born because it means she will never have to share a room with kids that much younger than her.



Inkar has done very well in school all through school, despite her main focus being her sports, and she's taking several AP classes for her senior year and some of her other classes through Running Start at CBCC. She plays varsity in volleyball, soccer, and track, and she knows that those are what are going to get her through paying for her academic career. There's a part of her that really wants to pursue sports as a career, and she thinks that maybe she has a chance, but she's also sure she needs a fall back plan. This isn't hard since she's incredibly curious and actually enjoys learning and school.



After making friends with Kangwan and Thomas before they graduated, she started actually having a close group of friends. She misses them and still communicates with them regularly, but she's also gotten to be pretty good friends with Liz, who she kind of made friends with because of the two of them.



She started at UW Bothell in Fall 2019. She's there on a partial athletic (track) and partial academic scholarship, but she's still living at home because dorms would be more expensive. She's seriously contemplating finding a way to move out sometime soon though just to have fewer siblings around (she loves her younger siblings, but they're so much younger, and some of them are very loud).

In early 2020, she qualified to be a part of the Kazakh National Track team, and she has been training seriously for that. She also made friends with Nika and is edging towards maybe dating her.
