Nika is somewhat tall at 5'6" (167 cm) and weighs a rather average 135 lbs (61 kg). Her hair has seen a wide range of colors and styles, though she currently has it cut in a bob, and is keeping it its natural dark brown, nearly black. Her favorite hair color is blue, so it's likely she'll go back to it some day. Her ears are pierced three times each going up from the lobe, but she typically only wears one pair of earrings. She has no tattoos, though she's interested in getting some some day. She has big, dark brown eyes, and a nice smile.

Nika seems bigger than she is. Not in the literal sense, and not in the famous sense, but in that her personality is much bigger than she looks. Her fierce protective nature combined with her confidence brings forth something that shocks people (she really doesn't understand why though). They also don't seem to understand her nonchalant attitude about her biological family, but she stresses found families are much better anyway. She doesn't really have secrets, but she also doesn't really have anything that needs to be kept quiet. Feelings Toward: A tough looking guy with a heart of gold, Nika originally wasn't interested in befriending him because he had a reputation, but by their junior year, she saw how often Lore protected others and their friendship blossomed. Lore was the first (and only) time Nika has confused friendship-feelings for feelings-feelings, but she never confessed to him, instead telling him much, much later (and when she was much more sure she was 100% not into guys) and they laughed about it.

Feelings Toward: Nika often finds herself encouraging Hyojae to do things she know he'd like if he stopped letting his anxiety get in the way. Another soft boy Nika decided she had to protect. They met their freshman year of high school.

Nika is the second born and youngest to a family of Korean heritage but from Russia. She grew up speaking Russian, Korean, and English, but at home mainly spoke Russian. She has a brother older than her by 12 years, and although she has some vague memories of trying to hang out with him as a toddler, she can't remember him ever once willingly spending time with her. Even if he was forced to babysit her, he'd set her up in her room and tell her to leave him alone. Growing up, she had a hard time making friends, and often felt very lonely, not helped by her brother's neglectfulness and her parent's working long hours. In sixth grade, her parents decided she should go to private school for middle school and high school. She tested into Lakeside Middle School for seventh grade, and she ended up making her first true friend with another kid who had just been transferred in, Kayden. Although she was initially averse to going to private school, she formed her own friend group and it became worthwhile. Her school life and home life found a sense of normalcy.

However, it all came crashing down when she told her parents what she wanted to major in. While fighting, in her anger, Nika also accidentally came out to them, and then ran away. Although she went back home that time, she didn't stay long, instead moving in with another friend of hers, Hyojae Park, who had inherited his family's home after his parents decided to retire early and move back to Korea. The house was rather big for just the two of them, and eventually more friends joined them, some for better reasons than others. Since Hyojae doesn't charge any of them rent, Nika can use all her money from her job towards her education, and though she hasn't avoided it all together, she's managed to avoid a lot of loans.

Nika graduated from UW Bothell Spring semester of 2022. For now she's still working as a waitress.
