((ADMIN Note: Please note the site has changed locations since this thread!))Tai was excited that Anya was going to be coming over. It had been a while since he'd seen her since they had both been busy over the summer. Tai had done an intensive dance camp, and he wasn't entirely sure what Anya had been busy with, but he knew that his Uncles had had trouble getting plans settled with the Youngs a few times.
He was hoping that he would get a chance to talk to her about it now that he'd decided for sure that he was auditioning. They'd talked about it a few times, when it was just a fun idea, and he wanted to know if she'd try too.

Anya was bouncing a bit in the car, excited to finally see Taijia again. When their schedules stopped matching up, the loneliness of being the only kid in the house caught up to her, so having some reprieve from that was quite a relief.
She barely took time to give her mom a goodbye hug before running up to the door of Taijia's house and knocking on the door, rocking back and forth on her feet excitedly.

Tai rushed to the door, glancing through the windows that you could see through coming down the stairs to see that it was Anya and threw open the door before she could knock more than twice. He grinned and said excitedly, "You're here!"
He gave her a quick hug and grabbed her hand to drag her up to his dance space, saying quickly, "Tell me about your summer? How are you? I missed you."
He added very quietly, "I decided that I'm going to audition after sixth grade, you know..."
He trailed off and watched Anya, waiting for her response and hoping that she'd take the idea seriously.

Anya smiled as she saw Taijia. "My summer was okay, once our schedules stopped matching up, it got really boring." She said, pouting a bit. "Without Remi around, there wasn't really anyone to hang out with or keep me entertained." She was about to ask how Taijia's summer was, but his news superseded that before she could even open her mouth. "Really?" She asked him, getting excited. She bounced on her feet, "So then you're gonna go to Korea? Will Yunjin really let you?" She paused, "What will I do without you?" She asked him, frowning.

Tai smiled at her and said, "I had so many dance lessons and stuff that I was busy all the time, but I missed you too."
He fidgeted a little and said, "Well, I have to make it through the auditions first, and yeah, Yunjin has to for sure let me, but I don't think that he wouldn't. Like if I was planning to drop out of school and not get an education he'd be upset, but I'm not, and I mean, I'm pretty sure that he'll insist that one of him and Uncle Sheng and Uncle Hwannie goes with me, but I don't think that he'd want to stop me from doing something that I really really want to do."
He looked at her hopefully and said, "You could audition too. If you still wanted?"

Anya nodded in agreement at Taijia's words. Of course he'd have to pass auditions, and maybe she was biased, but she had no doubt he would. He was good at dancing, good at singing, and had good looks. She wondered for a moment how her parents would react to her going to Korea to audition with him. They were really worried about Remi moving out, but eventually let him go to follow his dreams. But would she be as lucky, being the second child, let alone with her so much younger than her brother? "I do still want to! But now I don't know how much my parents would support it..." She said, pouting by the time her words faded off. "Not that they would completely deny me or anything, but Remi's almost 20 and yeah, he has a mental illness, but still they were so worried about him leaving. Even though he had been accepted, they almost, almost," she pinched her fingers together to signify the almost, "didn't let him go." She explained. She pouted again, "So what would they say when their 11 year old wants to go to another country?" She perked up again pretty quickly, "I'll talk to them though, definitely."

Tai told her seriously, "Kangwan told me that they have auditions in Los Angeles pretty often, and I was looking at the expected schedule of that because he said it, and there should be something from the companies that I would want to audition with the summer between fifth and sixth grade. Maybe it would be easier to convince your mom to let you go to an audition in LA? And then if you make it through, there would be a like real thing to convince her with?"
Tai was half thinking about using that trick himself, though he knew that he was going to have to talk to his Uncles about it in advance. He added, "I mean, would it reassure her if I was going too? And if one of my Uncles was going with me? Do you have relatives in Korea? I know I do, but Uncle Jin doesn't really talk to them."
He smiled at her and said, "Well if you're going to want to audition too, you'd better start really really practicing. We should find you something that would work as an audition piece."

Anys pondered that for a moment. On Youtube, she had noticed some companies releasing audition messages for the U.S over the summer. She'd be a bit older by the time next summer came around, and Remi would have (hopefully) gotten through his first year away from home quietly, and maybe they'd be more willing to let her go. "We go to LA quite often since my cousin's family moved there, so it's highly likely I'd be able to go at least that far, but even if we got accepted, they'd probably still be anxious to let me go to another country, with a friend and adult or not..." She told him hesitantly.
She shrugged, "Probably. My dad doesn't really talk about his family much. Though one time grandma and grandpa came to visit, I guess, but it was while we were still in England so of course I don't remember it. Supposedly there are cousins and I think he said two aunts in Korea we have yet to meet." She shifted, perking up again, "It'd be so nice to meet more family! I'm sure my dad would like it too, reconnecting with his family."
She took in his last words, and they seemed to settle in the pit of her stomach to form butterflies. "I guess I should, hmm?" She said with a nervous chuckle. "Do you know what you're going to do?"
