[[This post is backdated to late July/early August]]
Wooram had been able to get settled into the new apartment fairly quickly, and in the few days since they'd moved in, he'd not seen a huge amount of his new roommate, both of them mostly getting what they had brought unpacked and taking the weekend to settle in. Wooram hadn't wanted to go to IKEA on the weekend, and he was pretty sure that Raein would have liked it even less than he did.
Wooram hadn't quite realized how much of the decoration that he'd brought along with him instead of what he'd left with his former roommate in Bellingham was Pride stuff: the progress flag that hung on his door, various queer and nerdy posters on his walls, the bedding that was flung across his futon on the floor in rainbow, and many many queer books. There was a fair amount of Kpop stuff as well, and a few art pieces, though many of those were subtly or not so subtly queer as well. He needed a desk and bookshelf though, and they needed a lot of furniture for the main room.
It was Monday now, so it seemed like a good enough day for IKEA, especially since there wouldn't be training days for the school district for at least a week yet for either of them.
He went out to the main room in search of Raein to see if his new roommate would be down for driving his truck down to the south end so that they could acquire inexpensive furniture and then spend the afternoon assembling it. He started making his morning tea as soon as he was out there though, figuring that they were in no real rush.
