(TW: Suicide mention, abuse, conversion therapy)
Face Claim: Poompat Iam-Samang (Up)
Kit is tall, standing at 6' (183 cm), and weighs about 140 lbs (63.5 kg). He's pretty well-built, which almost exclusively comes from dancing since he likes junk food. He is naturally tanned, though now that he lives in an area where it actually get cold and dark during the winter he does get significantly paler during the winter. He has dark brown eyes. He keeps his hair shaggy, but usually long enough to put it into more than one style. It's color ranges from its natural black to brown. He is actually pretty confident in his looks. He has his ears pierced five times, and has no tattoos. He has a few scars, one on either wrist and a minor scar on his leg from when he was a kid and slid on some particularly sharp rocks.
Despite only being born in March, Kit has this knack to be one of the youngest people in the room. Some people have suspected he does it on purpose since he loves being doted on and babied. He doesn't do it on purpose, for the record, but he absolutely loves being doted on. He seems to have this on and off switch - when alone, he definitely acts like the youngest, but when with his younger brother, he at least acts more mature. He has no idea he does it.
His likes include dancing, sweets, soft/fuzzy things, cats, dogs, kids, the sun.
His dislikes are brussel sprouts, homophobia, conversion therapy, people, his dad.
His weaknesses include being sensitive (though he doesn't always consider it a weakness), freezing up at homophobia/violence, talking about his time in conversion therapy makes him extremely depressed, and being alone on a stage.
His strengths are dancing, takes criticism well, is always open to learning. He's also a really good older brother.
He fears his father. Although he's never been physically abusive, his father has spent enough time bad-mouthing him and disagreeing with Kit's "lifestyle" that Kit worries it's only a matter of time. He hasn't seen his father outside of a few seconds and from multiple feet away, whenever he had to pick up his brother, since his parents divorced.
He doesn't really have any secrets, though he hasn't talked with his mom yet about having dabbled in drag, mainly waiting until he's more sure he wants to actually try and do it. He aspires to get over his fears of being on stage alone - he's already managed to get over his general stage fright by being with his dance crew, so he's hoping with time and enough practice he'll be able to do it. He also hopes to one day become a dance teacher at Driftwood.

Feelings Toward: Loves her a lot. He's always been more like her and so though they'll have their moments, they almost always get along.
FATHER

YOUNGER BROTHER
Name: Boonmee Lek Saejin

Feelings Toward: Adores him to pieces. Probably because Kit's childish, they get along well.
Kittibun was born to a Thai-Chinese mother, and Chinese-Singaporean father in Changi, Singapore. He had a relatively average childhood until he reached age 12, and thought it was safe to tell his parents he was gay. His mom never once outright disagreed, but definitely mentioned more than once she didn't "understand" his feelings, asking him to change them. His father, however, had a more adverse reaction, and forced Kit to go to a conversion therapy camp during his next school break. He was only released when he was sent to a hospital after a suicide attempt. He told his mother what had happened at the camp, from days without food to being hit, and begged her to not make him go back. She agreed, and his getting released from the hospital coincided with them moving abroad for his dad's job.
Moving to Washington was a culture shock from the beginning. For starters, they moved in January, and had no proper clothing to wear. Then, seeing all the rainbow flags in the city was a shock, let alone the couples, gay and straight, walking through the streets holding hands or even showing PDA. Kit was starting to feel at home, while his parents felt more distanced from their new home. However, his mother didn't stay that way. Instead, she read, and learned, and around Kittibun's 14th birthday, told him she loved him for him, and finally asked him to never change himself. They went to Seattle Pride together that following summer.
Kittibun knew already his name was a bit strange, he was made fun of for it enough back in Singapore, but it's meaning, "famous fortune," and the fact that his mom was adamant on giving her child a Thai name somehow, he's held steadfast through the teasing and has always loved his name, even more so when his mother turned around and became his biggest ally. He tended to go by "Kit" in school, so it is a nickname he's pretty used to at this point and he uses it often. He's convinced his name has nothing to do with his love for cats.
In high school, Kittibun really began to hone in on a hobby he'd had since he was little, but always took a backseat to other things: dancing. He had come across some upper classmen who were dancing and was caught watching them intently. He was pretty surprised when he then found over half of them at the first GSA of the year. A few of them took him in and kept him safe from bullies, and complimented his skills while also teaching him how to improve. Because of his early involvement, he was one of the founders of the Driftwood Dance Crew, and the youngest one on the team at the time. He had a huge crush on one of the upperclassmen, Devi Yun, but couldn't bring himself to actually approach him. Two big events happened when he was sixteen: his mother got pregnant again, and then after one too many snide comments from his father about hoping the "new one doesn't turn out like that one," his parents got a divorce.
For college, his dad, who'd Kittibun had long since stopped trying to get along with, told him that if he went to an Ivy League school or to a university abroad, he would pay the whole expense. He didn't know what his dad had up his sleeve (he still doesn't know, in fact), but he didn't want to question it and so he chose to go to college in Thailand, wanting to experience the part of his ancestry that would, in theory, better accept him. He was excited for the opportunity, especially after being accepted to the top university in Thailand, but was extremely sad to be leaving his friends and dance crew. He got through college by busying himself so he didn't have to miss them too much, and eventually he made a few friends after getting a better grasp on the language. He made friends with some drag queens while there, and got into the culture, though besides a name - Kitti - he hasn't really gotten into drag events himself yet. When he returned to Washington, he immediately went to find his dance crew. While he had been gone, his brother grew up a bit, but still loves Kittibun and they get along really well.
Kit lives at home with his mom and brother, helping his mom around the house most days, and working part-time. He was excited when a bartender left from the club section of Driftwood, and he was hired on after probably the most informal interview he'd ever had (which was somewhat expected since he was being interviewed by the leader of his own dance crew). Although he'd like to find his own place, he's not in a super big hurry to do so, and enjoys helping his mom and brother around the house.
