((Admin Note: The site's location has changed since this thread!!))Hwangjung had been planning to meet Jiuk out for a date that afternoon, but Yunjin had a last minute school related emergency, and Sungyong had back to back Starbucks and figure skating teaching shifts that day. Normally, Hwangjung would have picked Tai up and gotten home just in time to meet Yunjin, but he had no idea what time his friend would be home, which meant he was home with Tai. And it was of course the afternoon that Kangwan didn't come over to babysit.
He thought about cancelling the date, but he really did want to see Jiuk, and he'd been thinking about inviting Jiuk over to their place properly, so that he could meet Tai, and possibly Yunjin later in the day. They'd been steadily getting more comfortable with things over the months they'd been dating, and so he was pretty sure his thought wouldn't be too uncomfortable for Jiuk.
He texted carefully, "Hey, I can't leave the house last minute because there's no one else to watch Tai. Yunjin had a school emergency and Sungyong works until late. Would you like to come over here instead? Tai would be interested in meeting you, he's been bugging me about it actually, and if you'd like, you could spend the night?"
He hit send before giving himself too much more time to think about it, and hoped that Jiuk would say yes.

Z was still trying to figure out what to wear when he got Hwangjung's text, and he felt almost a bit relieved at the thought of staying in. He hadn't been up for much human contact lately, but he'd also been looking forward to this date night for a while. He replied back with a simple, Yeah, I'll see you soon. He didn't want to comment on the spending the night thing. The thought of it made his heart race a little because for most people, spending the night meant doing that. He knew he'd have to play it by ear, though, especially with how he'd been the last couple weeks.
He changed his outfit search to something more comfortable, so that it was something he'd be fine with wearing to bed and also the walk of shame, regardless of what actually might happen. He went for black leggings under black metallic short-shorts. He then decided on a light blue tank top and a darker blue, galaxy print pull over sweater that fell off his shoulder. He topped it off with silver spike earrings and a hat with spikes outlining the bill of the cap. He finished washing up and looked at his phone, biting his lower lip hesitantly. It was still a bit early for him to leave, but he wanted to get the nerves at bay before he decided to bail completely. I'm ready a little early... Are you okay with me heading over now? He texted.

Hwangjung got Jiuk's text right at the same time Tai popped his head into Hwangjung's room. He smiled at his phone and typed in, "I'm ready for you to come over whenever you are. We can figure out plans for food for the evening and such once you're here."
Tai looked at him curiously and said, "You're smiling all funny. Are you talking to your boyfriend?"
Hwangjung nodded, smiling in amusement towards Tai and said, "Yeah. He's going to be coming over here, so you'll finally get the chance to meet him."
Tai grinned and said, "Cool. I finished my homework, can I do dance practice now?"
Hwangjung was relieved that Tai had reacted to the news about the way he had expected. He hauled himself to his feet, heading towards the living room with Tai and said, "Let me glance over your homework first to make sure that you didn't miss anything that you needed to do, but then yes."
He glanced over Tai's work, and everything was in order. He was surprised that Yunjin had been right how much just seeing an older kid also having to do homework had helped Tai be motivated to do his own homework, but then, there was a reason that Yunjin was the teacher, not him. He lingered in the living room, watching Tai start his practice along the wall of the living room that had been set up for him to use for dance practice and waiting for Jiuk to arrive. He hoped that Tai and Jiuk would like each other.

Z nodded and moved to put his phone in his pocket before realizing he didn't have any in this outfit. He made a face before digging through his closet for a different pair of pants, because he was too fond of the color aesthetic of the tank top and shirt to get rid of that half. He decided on a pair of dark skinny jeans with at least one actual pocket (the downfall of shopping in the girl's sections) and changed into those instead, and also pulled on some blue and black high tops, before finally leaving his room. He ran into Alexia in the living room, and he felt his face heat up. "Um... I'm going to meet Hwangjung, I'm not sure if I'll be back tonight." He said, pulling at the bottom of his sweater and feeling like he was saying it robotically. Alexia smiled like she wanted to tease him, but instead just said, "Have fun. Be safe." He nodded before rushing out the door, patting his face in hopes it would cool down.
The drive there didn't take him very long. He stayed in his car a bit, trying to even out his breathing. He knew Hwangjung wouldn't force him into anything he didn't want to do, throughout the months he'd made that very clear, but the thought that something even could happen still made him very nervous. Finally, he texted Hwangjung, letting him know he was in the parking lot before getting out of the car and leaning against the door.

Hwangjung glanced down at the text. He smiled to see that Jiuk was there so soon, and he typed in the reply, "Come ahead on over, and I'll let you in. It's the only purple house near here, so you can't miss it."
He was pretty sure Jiuk knew which house was his, considering Jiuk had dropped him off quite a few times at this point, but he wasn't sure if part of why Jiuk hadn't just come up and rung the bell was uncertainty. He looked at Tai, still intent on his dance practice and told him, "Jiuk's here, I'm going to go let him in. Don't be too nosy, ok?"
Tai looked at him and sighed just a little bit. He said at last, "I promise I won't be too nosy, this time."
Hwangjung laughed and shook his head. Tai was generally curious and inquisitive, though he didn't always show it with new adults. Jiuk fit into his general comfort zone though, so there was a chance that he would come out of his shell quickly him.
He walked down to the entryway, pulling the door open to glance outside and see if he could spot Jiuk.

Z laughed lightly as he read the text, looking around to find the purple house. Sure enough, it was right there, but he realized how often he must've been meeting Hwangjung at night, since he hadn't realized just how purple it actually was. Still, somehow it fit the look of a house very well, and didn't seem as out of place as he expected it based off just reading that. He was almost to the door when Hwangjung opened it, smiling softly at him. "Hey," he said, just loud enough for Hwangjung to be able to hear, giving him a small wave as well. He looked up above the doorframe; "The color isn't that bad, actually..." He mused to Hwangjung with a laugh.

Hwangjung laughed lightly at Jiuk's comment and said, "I never said it was bad, just very purple. It makes it easy to spot. That being said, I'm not nearly as enamored of the color as Jin-hyung or Sungyong. It's a pretty nice house though. Come on in and I can give you the grand tour and introduce you to Tai."
He led the way into the house, pointing up the stairs and said, "It's a split level, so most of the stuff is up there, Yunjin and Sungyong's bedroom and study and Tai's bedroom, and the kitchen and living room, but my space is in the downstairs, so it gets a little bit more privacy and I'm less likely to wake anyone up when I come home from closing at the bar. I've got my room and a home recording studio and a bathroom down there. We should start with the upstairs though, follow me?"
He started heading up the stairs, ready to show Jiuk around and introduce him to Tai.

"You're not wrong, but I realized I usually only took you home at night, so the color wouldn't come to mind when you mentioned it was purple. If I think purple house, honestly my first reaction would be 'ew'." He admitted with a laugh. He nodded at the mention of a tour, looking around. He hadn't been in a split level house since living with his bio parents, and despite knowing it probably wasn't the case, his mind told him this place was bigger than the Confortola's. He continued looking around, but kept a close tail on Hwangjung. "So nice in here." He mused aloud.

Hwangjung led the way to the upstairs, all of a sudden a little bit nervous. From the top of the stairs, he pointed out the entries to various rooms. He said, "That's Jin-hyung and Sungyong's room, and that's their study. The one in the middle over there is the bathroom, though I and by extension you mainly have possession of the bathroom downstairs, and that room is Tai's."
He led the way over to the kitchen and said, "There's some food in the kitchen, but I was just thinking of ordering take away today, since it seems easier. I'm up for suggestions on that. The living room is through here though, and that's where Tai is."
He ducked into the living room, looking at Tai across the room. The boy stopped his dancing, darting over to hide a bit behind Hwangjung's leg and glance up at Jiuk, taking in the new adult. Hwangjung said, "Jiuk, this is Tai. And Tai, this is my boyfriend, Jiuk."
Tai stared up at him, eyes wide and gaze somewhat intent for a moment, clearly trying to decide what he thought of the new person. Finally, he said, relatively pleased, in Korean, "You have cool hair. Nice to meet you."
Hwangjung stifled a laugh and told Tai, "I know his name is Korea, and Jiuk is half-Korean, but he's still working on learning the language, so you might want to mostly use English, ok kid?"
Tai pouted for just a second, but replied, "OK," stepping out from his hiding place behind Hwangjung, clearly a little bit more confident now.

Z followed Hwangjung with a look of curiosity stuck on his face. He always wanted to live with friends, but with his best friend not even out of his teen years quite yet, it was a somewhat unobtainable goal for now. He made little comments about the place as he was shown each area, overall loving the place, but trying not to gush about it too much (He resisted the urge to say it was aesthetically pleasing and decided he needed to stay off Tumblr for a bit to get over that). As they approached Taijia, his smile softened. Oh jeez, he was cute. He'd heard about Tai plenty, but seeing the little boy in person was a whole different story. He smiled to the boy at the comment, feeling proud he could say, "Actually, I understood that, at least. Nice to meet you, Taijia." He said, the last part his response in Korean. He gave the boy a wink, "If you want to test my knowledge, I'm okay with you speaking it at me, but Hwangjung's right," He crinkled his nose, "I'm really not fluent. Though I want to be." He explained to the boy.

Tai smiled brightly when Jiuk replied partially to him in Korean, but he didn't say anything more just then, looking back at Hwangjung for cues of what was going to happen next. Hwangjung smiled down at Tai and told him, "I don't want to keep you from your dance practice. Do you want us to watch for a bit? And now that Jiuk's here, we can figure out what we want to do for dinner in a little."
Tai looked thoughtful for a second and then looked over at Jiuk and asked tentatively, "Do you want to watch me practice?"
Hwangjung looked over at Jiuk, momentarily a little bit unsure himself. He and the other two generally enjoyed watching Tai practice and tried to do so and encourage him as much as possible if Tai wanted them to watch, but he didn't want to bore Jiuk. On the other hand, he would be a little bit disappointed if Jiuk wasn't at all interested in watching Tai dance.

Z looked between the two, realizing quickly this was probably a pivotal moment. In all honesty, he tended not to watch dance practices on Youtube, just letting himself be mesmerized by the music videos and final products (and also the random dance plays) from bands. But he'd never seen a live dance practice, save for when Samnang got in a mood and made him try something new with him. He let out a belated, but amused gasp, "Wow, you can dance? That's amazing!" He said, feeling like it came off more condescending than he intended. He winced a bit, biting his lip. "At seven, I think the only thing I learned how to do skill-wise was keep myself entertained at church without it being obvious." He shook his head before smiling to Taijia. "Long answer short, I'd love to see you dance. Please show me." He said, smiling as he said the last part in Korean.

Hwangjung smiled down at Tai and told Jiuk, "He's been taking lessons for a bit over a year now, but he would learn what he could from videos even before that. He got really interested when he was watching some of the videos from songs that I wrote that got bought in kpop, and it's all we've really heard about ever since."
Tai smiled up at both of them, looking especially happy about Jiuk wanting to see him dance. He went and started up his music again, one of the songs from Kangwan's group because he'd been vaguely fascinated that he actually knew one of the boys from the group. He'd learned all of the choreography for a few of the songs, and that was what he was practicing, specifically one of the songs that Hwangjung had written that had been bought for the group.
Hwangjung laughed very slightly under his breath and said softly, "Oh, I, uh, didn't know that was what he was practicing. Um, I guess you get to hear one of the songs that I wrote too."

"Oh." Z said, smiling. At least it would be a sound he was familiar with. He got comfortable next to Hwangjung and raised an eyebrow in curiosity at the other man's added words. He listened to the music, it was a nice song, and it seemed familiar, even. He kept his eyes on Taijia as he leaned closer to whisper to Hwangjung. "I forget... Do you write the lyrics too, or just the song?"

Hwangjung leaned closer to Jiuk as well, wrapping an arm around his shoulders to make talking easy. He whispered back, "Just the music. I'm horrible at lyrics. Clearly I need a collaborator who is good at them. Most of the time the companies that I sell things too have someone on staff, though this one got lyrics by some of the group members which I tend to like better."
Taijia finished his run through of the dance and looked over at them expectantly. Hwangjung smiled widely at him, unwrapping his arm from around Jiuk and clapping, saying, "You're getting better at that one really quickly. I bet pestering Kangwan to help you practice it is helping, huh?"
Taijia grinned back at him and nodded, not saying anything just yet.
