Hayun was nervous but also excited on her way back from school that afternoon. Once she got back, she'd have to get ready pretty quickly because she and Shieon-unnie were scheduled to do a live stream not that much later. She was relieved that they'd at least factored the chance of her bus running late into the timing.
Once she got back to the Dreams Ent building, she rushed back up to the dorms, calling out, "Shieon-unnie, sorry I'm running late. I'll get ready quickly!"
She looked around for her groupmate as she headed to the bedroom to change into clothes other than her school uniform for the live stream. She wanted to pick something that matched well with what Shieon-unnie was wearing if she could, especially with their nails already matching. She glanced quickly down at her nails and smiled. She hoped that Shieon-unnie would be willing to paint her nails for her again, it had been fun to sit with her for that long and do something together.

Shieon was sitting on the couch sipping on a banana milk as Hayun came in. "Okay~" She called simply.She was already in her (manager-approved) outfit, wearing jean shorts and a large blue and green hoodie jacket with a black tanktop underneath. Her hair was up in a ponytail, but having been bored earlier, she also had a couple french braids going along the side. If Hayun wanted something similar, it was something she could probably do really quickly, as long as Hayun didn't take too long to change. She finished the banana milk and turned off the TV and went to throw away the carton, trying to see if Hayun was almost ready without interrupting her, and then heading back to the couch, waiting patiently.

Hayun's first thought when her eyes landed on Shieon-unnie in that outfit was, So cute. The second was relief that it was an easy enough outfit for her to match to. She had a long sleeved, cold-shoulder crop top with almost perfectly matching blue and green stripes and a pair high-waisted black jean shorts. It only took her a short bit to change, and she went to the restroom to check her hair and do her makeup in the mirror. She frowned because the wind coming in had rumpled her hair, that and probably having had it up all day.
She sighed, grabbed her hair things and make up and went out to the main room. She asked Shieon-unnie plaintively, "Do you think that you could fix my hair while I do my make up? I was hoping that putting it in braids this morning would keep it good enough but it was windy. You can do whatever you want with it. Maybe make us match?"
She sat down on the floor in front of the couch, offering her hair things to Shieon-unnie and started laying out her makeup on the coffee table so she could reach it without moving her head.

"Of course!" Shieon replied chipperly, giving Hayun a smile. She readjusted so she could work with Hayun's hair, sorting out the hair supplies the other girl brought out and starting with a brush, gently going through Hayun's hair and brushing it out. "Your hair is so soft." She praised, combing through with her fingers next. Then she worked on separating the hair into parts; one part for the ponytail, and two smaller parts for the braids.
"How was school?" She asked, feeling oddly motherly to even ask it. She used to ask her brother how his school days were, but it was still somewhat weird to be the one asking when it wasn't her brother. As she waited for an answer, she began the first braid.

Hayun got slightly distracted from her makeup for a moment as Shieon-unnie started brushing out her hair. It felt nice to have someone else brushing her hair, and it wasn't something that she'd gotten from a person she was close to in a long time. Stylists were somehow not the same.
She snapped out of it, not putting too much thought into it because she didn't want to end up flustered, when Shieon-unnie asked her about school. She got started on her makeup for real, opting for something realtively simple that she could do quickly. She replied, "It wasn't bad. We're working on duet projects in my main singing class, but Seoji's in that one so it's not weird and awkward to pair up with some boy I don't even know."
She was glad that she got to commute back and forth from SOPA with Seoji and Felix because it meant that she didn't have to go alone, and she shared a schedule with Seoji, which was convenient, especially now that with debut, there was a chance that she might miss classes at times.
She was careful to keep her head steady so that it would be easier for Shieon-unnie, and she asked, "How was your day?"

Shieon couldn't help but smile as she noticed Hayun seemed to be entranced by having her hair brushed, and she waited patiently for Hayun to respond, finishing the first braid and going on to the next. "Hmm," She mused, "that sounds like it could be fun, but especially if you get to pair with someone you already know."
She thought over her day, trying to think if she did anything interesting. Eventually, she gave up and shrugged, even though she wasn't sure if Hayun could see it. "Just, you know, rap and dance trainings. After trainings, I went to the cafe and people watched outside for a bit, but otherwise, I just prepped myself for the live." She rambled. She let out a short laugh as she recalled she had spoken to her family earlier that morning, "Oh, and I finally got my brother to talk to me for longer than like, a minute on the family call. I think that was the highlight of my day."

Hayun hummed in agreement as she was doing her lip makeup, nothing too heavy but enough that her lips wouldn't disappear on camera. Once she'd finished them, she replied, "Yeah, it's an interesting project, but I barely know any of my classmates in that class other than Seoji, so I'm really glad he's in there, especially since the teacher is having us pair up girls with guys. At least she's used to letting people pair up with the ones in the same company as them though. It would have been even weirder if she was pairing us all up based on her own decisions, or like the alphabet."
Hayun had noticed that Shieon-unnie seemed sad in general about her brother not talking to her much once she started training. She said softly, "I'm glad to hear he talked to you for longer. That's good."
It didn't take her long to finish up her makeup. It wasn't like she needed to do full stage makeup for a live. She was kind of happy that it meant that she had a little bit of time to just relax while Shieon-unnie finished with her hair. She sighed and said, "Thank you for doing my hair unnie, it feels nice to have someone I'm close to do it. Different than with stylists."

Shieon thought back to her time in school when she had to do group projects and cringed. "Group projects are the worst. Since I moved a lot growing up, I almost never knew people in my grade. I'd try to pick the classmate I was closest to, but of course they always picked someone else first. I'm glad your teacher has the sense to let you pick someone you're at least familiar with."
She smiled and nodded, "I think he was really upset when I moved into the dorms. Like I said, we moved a lot as we were growing up, so we became each other's friend. So I think he felt betrayed when I left him. I'm glad he seems to be sorting through his feelings about that though."
Shieon was just finishing up the hair when Hayun thanked her for it, and she nodded before realizing Hayun probably wouldn't notice that. "No problem. I love when people play with my hair, but it does feel different when stylists do it, so I totally understand." She laughed, "They're playing with hair professionally, maybe that's why it's different."

As soon as her hair was done, Hayun leapt up and spun to give Shieon-unnie a hug. She said, "Come on, we don't want to be late for our own live. Let's get down to the studio."
She reached down to offer Shieon-unnie a hand up from the couch, smiling at how tiny the other girl was next to her. Something about Shieon-unnie made her not feel weird about towering over the other girl and instead feel like they fit nicely next to each other.
She was nervous for this live, but excited too, especially matching with Shieon-unnie. She asked, "What sorts of things do you think fans will say or ask?"

Shieon giggled through the hug and nodded. "Right, let's go." She took Hayun's offered hand and held onto it as she pulled Hayun towards the studio. "Hmm... good question. Probably things like what we like to do, what our hobbies are. Probably things that stem from that." She guessed. She'd watched plenty of Vlives before but now that she was faced with doing one herself, she was blanking on every question ever asked. Plus, she never really paid attention to the pre-debut groups enough to catch what one of their Vlives would look like.

Hayun sighed, lacing her fingers with Shieon-unnie's and swinging their hands just a little as they walked. She said, "That all sounds alright, and maybe they'll ask us to sing or rap for you or dance, though maybe not dance since neither of us is officially one of the dancers, if they ask for dance, I can do something though, if it makes you nervous."
She hesitated and added softly, "I just hope that fans don't like ask about stuff with me and figure skating before. I don't want it to make me nervous in front of the camera."
She'd mentioned it in passing with the members, and she'd specifically told the manager and Seojin-unnie about her worry after her conversation with Elena when it had come up, but she hadn't told Shieon-unnie the details, and she was actually kind of worried. She didn't like thinking about it, but she also was sure that at some point it would come up. She squeezed Shieon-unnie's hand and said, "Shieon-unnie will be there with me though, so it will be OK."
She actually kind of believed it. She thought that at least if Shieon-unnie was there, she'd feel like she was with someone who she trusted and believed in her. That was a good feeling.

Shieon nodded, "That's also possible. But I hope they don't ask us to dance unless it's like, 'what have we been practicing lately?'" She said with a short giggle. Her smile faded as Hayun mentioned figure skating, and she rubbed a finger along Hayun's hand. "If you start getting nervous, or don't feel like you can talk about it, then I think being honest would be the best policy. If you're worried about looking bad in front of fans by ignoring them or denying them a proper answer, I'll be happy to defend you, and also, we'll have our manager watching and he can intercept at any time. But I think just ignoring those questions will look worse than addressing why you're ignoring them." She gave Hayun a comforting smile, "And I'll be with you the whole time, so as long as I can help it, you'll be fine."

Hayun was surprised that she actually felt more confident about the possibility of having to talk about the injury and why she stopped skating after Shieon-unnie's words. She smiled down at Shieon-unnie and squeezed the older girl's hand, saying softly, "Thank you unnie, you're the best."
Finally though, or perhaps too soon, they were at the little studio where they were having their live. The set up was ready for them, this was the first stream with just the two of them, and the first one where Hayun would really have to be focusing since debut. She'd done a few predebut, and there had been a few group ones since debut, but this was her and Shieon-unnie, and so the fans would be focused on them.
She squeezed, Shieon-unnie's hand again and said, "Ready? I'm nervous, but hopefully the fans are excited to see us."

Shieon nodded, "I'm also nervous, but I think it'll be fine." She wanted to say she was going to fine as long as Hayun was with her, but even just that thought made her squirm inside and she didn't need to embarrass or fluster both of them right before they got on camera.
She sat down in front of the computer they would use to read the messages and gave one last glance at Hayun before pressing the 'go live' button. It took a little bit but soon enough there was the video of them, and the chat relay changed from general excitement to fans sending them hearts and their names. "Hello everyone!" She greeted them chipperly.

Hayun found herself feeling not really ready internally as they started the stream. She'd been surprised at how excited and relaxed she'd been for their stage debut. That had been fun, it had been like the parts of figure skating that she'd loved best, even with it only being an online showcase without much in the way of people watching them in person. The live stream, however, was making her antsy. She hooked her arm through Shieon-unnie's and waved with the other hand, drawing emotional strength from knowing that Shieon-unnie was there, and hoping that it didn't distract Shieon-unnie that she was shaking a little.
She put on the most bubbly smile that she could muster and said to the camera, "Hi! I'm so excited to be here with Shieon-unnie to talk to all of you."
She realized that she'd forgotten to use Shieon-unnie's stage name almost immediately and glanced down for a second, figuring it was probably best to just do her best to compose herself and not babble to try to correct her mistake, though she felt a little knot of anxiety in her chest from the mistake.
There were comments already flying across the screen excited to see them though, and Hayun took a steadying breath as best she could and looked at Shieon-unnie to try to figure out what she should say or do next. Maybe they should read comments, or do something for the fans, but all the ideas had flown out of Hayun's brain.
