Seojin led the rest of the group towards center stage as the lights went down, finding her place for the opening pose of the choreography and checking that the others were doing alright getting situated. They'd been on point in practice, even with Elena joining the group late, and Jane dropping nearly at the last minute, causing them to switch back to the original five-person version of the choreography, fortunately, Elena learned fast and had meshed well with the group. They were ready, Seojin knew that, but as leader, she was a little nervous anyhow that something could go wrong.
Once they were all set, Seojin gave a small wave to the person on lights and sound, and then she could only focus on the song and dance. She liked "Going Going," with its energetic dance and teen crush style. They were in bright colors, but it wasn't a particularly cutesy song, which she appreciated. This was probably the best route that they could have gone with the members' age range and personalities.
When she hit the ending pose, noting disastrous seemed to have happened, and she knew that she'd performed well. She held the ending pose for the count of five that she'd been taught before looking around at the others, smiling, and then leading the group towards the front of the stage to where their sunbae were waiting for them, making sure to end up between Elena and Anya in the line up this time, putting Shieon and Hayun next to each other. She hurried to bow and say, "Thank you for watching us! That was 'Going Going' and we're looking forward to sharing more of our songs with you very soon!"
She looked at Kangwan-oppa and Josh-sunbae, waiting for their cues for what to do next.

Shieon found her spot for the start of the dance and took a deep breath. She tried to clear her mind of everything but the dance and lyrics, but still noticed she was shaking a bit. Hopefully it didn't affect her rap. It's time for charisma rapper. She told herself. As the lights began shining on them, and the song began, she took one more deep breath. Shieon felt like the song was over in an instant. She held her ending pose and only broke it once Seojin did, and a huge smile came across her face. She gave a bow to the cameras and went back to her spot in the line up giving her hands a little shake. Now that their debut stage was over, the adrenaline from it was getting to her, and she bounced a bit in her spot, and clung onto Hayun's arm once the other girl arrived. [[Next is An Hayun]] |

After the song ended, Hayun burst into an enormous grin. She'd hit all her high notes, they'd sounded so good. Everything had felt in synch and good the way it did in the best practices. She linked arms with Shieon-unnie and grinned down at her, squeezing her arm very briefly and enjoying the physical contact of standing next to her favorite unnie.
She was nervous again though because now was the part with questions. She'd gotten the chance to tell the manager and Seojin-unnie that she was uncomfortable with questions about figure skating and what had happened and why she'd stopped, so she was pretty sure that those had been screened out, but there were so many possible places that questions could get awkward.
She tried not to let the nerves show on her face, but she shifted very slightly closer to Shieon-unnie, trying to let her nerves be soothed by Shieon-unnie's presence. At least Hayun wouldn't be one of the primary people answering questions that were directed at the group as a whole.

Anya felt simultaneously nervous and confident as the song started. She tried to clear her thoughts and it mostly worked, and she let out a subtle breath as she prepared. After the song ended, she felt mostly good. She was pretty sure her voice was a bit shaky in places, but she didn't think she was off at any point, so she'd accept a bit shaky. She smiled and went to the line up with the other members with a bounce in her step. She was curious what kinds of questions she would get now that they were moving on to that section of their showcase. Hopefully she could understand all the questions directed at her. Elena got into her starting position and thankfully, with the promise of dance and singing, her nerves completely vanished. She held the ending pose and only broke when the others did. She beamed and felt a rush of relief. Everything had gone so well, all the choreo and vocals just came to her as if she'd trained them into herself, which she had. She fell into line with the others and tried to hide her grin getting bigger when Seojin stood next to her. She made sure to keep herself in check. She wanted to cling to the older girl, and seeing Hayun and Shieon made it even harder to not mimic them, but Seojin was the leader and needed to be cling-on free. [[next is Joshua Kim Jaeseo]] |

Josh watched the JBN girls perform, and he felt a little swell of pride. He'd not worked with them as much as Taehoon, or even as much as Kangwan, who was around the training areas more often than he was, but he'd heard enough about all the trainees from Taehoon that he had a very soft spot for them. He was glad to see that Elena had integrated into the group well despite her very last minute addition.
When the girls were finished performing and back to the front, he applauded with the appropriate amount of sincere enthusiasm, smiling at them. He said to Kangwan, but also for the cameras, "That was such an amazing first performance from our juniors! We can't wait to see more amazing performances from JBN in the future."
He turned to the girls and asked, "How do you feel now that you've had your first performance?"
He paused to give them a chance to reply, and then continued, "We're going to have some questions from fans now, and then you'll all have a chance to pose for some photos and screenshots individually and in groups. The fans in the comments are very excited for your first performance!"
