Shieon smiled as Hayun complimented her nails, taking her hand back slowly after the other girl let it go, staring at it momentarily as if trying to figure something out, but in the end, shaking her head and putting her hand around her glass. She felt a strange sort of comfort around Hayun that she couldn't explain. She liked seeing the other girl smile.
A realization hit her like a brick, and her smile faltered for a moment. Was this what a crush felt like? Was she developing a crush? On her bandmate? She couldn't do that! Although... it wasn't not allowed. In fact, their contracts technically didn't have a dating clause, meaning they were free to date. But she could already potentially screw the band over if someone found out she was trans, which was easy enough to do considering she had plenty of classmates who knew (no thanks to dumb rules and class rosters), but to be in a gay relationship seemed like it was testing too much. She couldn't ruin the group before they'd even debuted! She'd feel awful, and worse, it would give her parents the validation they needed that she should keep her head low and basically be invisible.
Shieon realized she was gripping rather tightly to her cup, and let it go, also realizing she had been quiet for a long time, "Sorry. I got distracted. Um... I can paint your nails sometime if you want. You can look through my Insta to get ideas if you want." She offered with a smile, unlocking her phone and opening her instagram; it was now private and she wasn't accepting friend requests, but after pleading with the company, they agreed to let her at least keep it rather than force her to delete it. She handed the phone to Hayun, "if you want some ideas of what I can do..."
